The Delaware State Police Federal Credit Union contacted me for their Feb. 17, 2010 event at Beau Rivage Resort and Casino, Biloxi, MS.
A very special thanks to Jenifer Doby at the Beau for the referral on this group.
The party started at 7:00pm with guests entering the Camilia Ballroom to Island style music (Jimmy Buffet, UB40, Bob Marley, Tropical steel drums, and more). The genre of music set the mood to what was going to be a fun evening for all.
As the night progressed, guests started the buffet right away. Dinner was fantastic and the catering and bar tending staff did a marvelous job as usual.
After a formal welcome from one of the employees, I decided to start of the evening with a fun interactive audience participation game. I brought up 12 contestants (3 of which I already picked out when I was setting up….they had the perfect personality for it). The crowd loved the energy and responded well to my lite comedy inserts in the game. When the game came to a great big finale, I had the group start with a conga line and then party was on.
Great music (alot of 80’s dance music) was enjoyed by all.
I took some photos and will have them posted soon.
I also took some fun video with my Flip camera.
The party went until 11:00pm with still a great number of guests in the room.
We had a great time and I hope I can work with this group again real soon. 🙂
